Nepali ambassador to US Karki asked to clarify Dahal's Venezuela statement

A senior US State Department official recently called Nepal's Ambassador to the United States Arjun Karki to enquire about the statement issued by Chairman of ruling Nepal Communist Party (NCP) Pushpa Kamal Dahal on the ongoing Venezuelan crisis, diplomatic sources said on Friday.

NAC obtains CAAN's AOC for Japan flight

The national flag-carrier Nepal Airlines Corporation (NAC) has obtained an air operator's certificate (AOC) by the Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) to conduct flights for Japan. According to NAC assistant spokesperson Nawaraj Koirala, its new A 330 wide-body aircraft was granted the AOC for Kathmandu-Osaka flights on Friday.

Minister Baskota urges private schools to stop commercialization
Minister for Communications and Information Technology, Gokul Prasad Baskota, has urged the private schools to stop commercializing education. Addressing the 13th district convention of the Private and Boarding Schools' Organization Nepal (PABSON) here today, Minister Baskota said, "Mere fluency in English speaking does not suffice to be proud of quality education. 

Over INRs 16,000 crore allocated to Ministry of External Affairs; Nepal gets INRs 700 crore
