SYANJA, Sept 3: A father and his son were murdered in Harinas rural municipality-3, Lalahi Mindanda on Tuesday morning.
According to District Police Office, an unidentified group killed father Chitra Bahadur KC, 30, and his son Rijan, 3, with a sharp weapon while they were sleeping in their house.

Father was attacked on his forehead while the son on the neck. Nabin Krishna Bhandari, the spokesperson at DPO Syangja, the masked men attacked them with a knife. As soon as the wife on another bed shouted, the attackers ran away from their room.
Though the District Police Office mobilized a sniffer dog, the police are still clueless about the criminals. The police said they have launched an investigation into the incident.
DPO Syangja chief Superintendent of Police Raj Kumar Lamsal vowed to nab the criminals at the earliest.
