Police have rescued a person who fell into a manhole in Teku, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-2.

KATHMANDU, March 9: Police have rescued a person who fell into a manhole in Teku, Kathmandu Metropolitan City-2. 


A team from the Nepal Police Disaster Management Office in Samakhusi rescued the man, who had fallen into the manhole, near the Kanak Petrol Pump in Teku.

DSP Rupesh Khadka of the Kalimati Police Circle said that they have not yet confirmed the identity of the rescued person. 


Police confirmed that the rescued individual is about 31 or 32 years old.


He fell into the manhole at 6:45 am on Sunday. Upon receiving the information, the Disaster Management team immediately carried out the rescue.


The police reported that the rescued individual was taken to the National Trauma Center for treatment. He is in a dazed state.
