KATHMANDU, April 22: The newly-appointed ambassador of Estonia to Nepal, Ketrin Kivi, has paid a courtesy call on Minister for Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Pampha Bhusal.
During the meeting held at the ministry today, they discussed various issues of mutual relations and interest.
On the occasion, Minister Bhusal stressed the need for promoting the arrival of tourists for further expansion of the relations between the two countries at the people's level.

Stating that both countries have similar views at multilateral forums of the world, Minister Bhusal pointed out the need for further collaboration in the coming days.
The energy minister shared, "Nepal is an important nation for hydropower investment. I want to urge the government and private sectors of Estonia to invest in Nepal." She said Nepal is continuously involved in hydropower development.
She also expressed the belief that the relations between the two countries would be further expanded in the days to come.
Saying Estonia is a country strong in cyber security, Ambassador Kivi mentioned that Estonia could collaborate with Nepal on the issue of e-commerce and discussion at the government level was necessary for the same.
Nepal and Estonia have been enjoying diplomatic relations since 1992.
