Election campaigns postponed at Chitwan

CHITWAN, Nov 19: Political parties of Chitwan have postponed their election campaigns for today. The hiatus follows the demise of Prakash Dahal, son of Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Dahal is competing in the House of Representative from Chitwan-3.

CHITWAN, Nov 19: Political parties of Chitwan have postponed their election campaigns for today. The hiatus follows the demise of Prakash Dahal, son of Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Dahal is competing in the House of Representative from Chitwan-3.


Surya Subedi Pathik, deputy coordinator of the Left Alliance informed of the postponement.  A mass gathering of the Left Alliance scheduled for Nov 21 has also been postponed. The gathering was to be addressed by senior leaders of the Left Alliance.

The Democratic Alliance has also postponed its election campaigns for today at Chitwan. 


Expressing condolence to CPN-Maoist Chairperson Pushpa Kamal Dahal for the bereavement, Bibeksheel Sajha party has also postponed its election campaign for today, Ramesh Paudel, spokesperson of the party said.
