KATHMANDU, June 9: Supported medical equipment and doctors, Dr. Upendra Devkota will be flying to his hometown, Pandit Gau of Gorkha after the ailing neuro surgeon expressed his desire for the visit.
Devkota has wished to rest at his house’s veranda and drink water from Sisne Pani tap. Earlier today, family members rebuked ongoing social media rumors of Dr. Upendra Devkota passing away.

"We are concerned that the social media was flooded with rumors of his death," family members said. Senior neurosurgeon Devkota's health condition is very critical, according to doctors.
Devkota has been undergoing treatment at Neuro Hospital, Bansbari where he was kept on a ventilator for the past five days.
