KATHMANDU, June 9: Senior Neurosurgeon Dr. Upendra Devkota has been airlifted to his home town Gorkha. Devkota has been taken to his birth place as per his wish.
He has been flown to his ancestor’s house based in Pandit Gaun after landing the helicopter at Bohara Gaun. Devkota had expressed desire to drink water from Sisnepani Dhara (stone spout) sitting at home.

Devkota has been undergoing treatment for gall bladder cancer at Neuro Hospital, Bansbari. He will be taken back to Kathmandu today itself.
