Dhakal addresses media conference in Bankok

KATHMANDU, Oct 23: President of Women´s Federation for World Peace-Nepal, Blessie Dhakal, addressed a media conference on ‘Women Empowerment and ways to stop violence on women and WFP´s initiatives and experiences in the act’ in Bangkok organized by the Bankok-based Universal Peace Federation.



Nepal Republic Media Chairman, Binod Raj Gyawali, Sambridhi Gyawali NRM, President of UPF Asia, Dr Chung Sik Young and Vice President of UPF Asia Kirti Bunchua attended the conference. [break]



On the occasion, Chairman of Washington Times,Thomas P. McDevitt delivered a speech on ‘Democracy Press Freedom and Role of Media’ via video conferencing. Similarly, during the conference, Nepal’s former minister Eknath Dhakal spoke about the SAPI Project.
