KATHMANDU, July 1: Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) on Tuesday gained 31.44 points to close at 2,662.92 points.
The secondary market opened at 2,631.48 points and gradually inclined up throughout the trading hours. Overall, the market grew by 1.19 percent in the intraday trading.

Only manufacturing and processing registered as loser, with a decline of 11.40 points in its index. Out of 12 gainers, life insurance gained the largest of 149.67 points, followed by microfinance (114.26 points) and non-life insurance (101.55 points).
The sensitive index, which measures the performance of ‘A’ class companies, inclined up an impressive 6.49 points. The daily turnover amount also increased to Rs 7.03 billion from Rs 6.38 billion Monday.
Among the individual companies, 217 were gainers while 31 were recorded as losers. NRN Infrastructure and Development Limited had the largest turnover of its shares worth Rs 461.64 million.
Samudayik Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited gained the highest of 9.87 percent of its market value. Unilever Nepal Limited shed 2.13 percent of its market price and was registered as the highest loser.
