Before pouring out my thoughts on creative thinking, my sincere salute to the ones doing outstanding jobs in their respective works, namely Jack Ma, Elon Musk, Satya Nadella, Sunder Pichai, Mark Zuckerberg and the list goes on. Why? Because it is interesting to note that these people are all well-known for their creative thinking skills and abilities. Take an example; Elon Musk is a lead designer of SpaceX.

But, at the same time, I would refine myself from mentioning that everybody other than the names mentioned above are less creative! My understanding is that majority of people are averagely creative. Their problem-solving skills are not quite outstanding. All in all, we mostly confine ourselves from moving out of our comfort zones. We don’t tend to think out-of-the-box. Had we done so, we would all be legendary in our own rights, irrespective of our areas of interest.

So, what is creative thinking? Clearly, it is a disciplined process. It is self-directed. After all, thinking clearly and rationally is what we have learnt to be creative thinking. Be it in personally or professionally. As we can see in today’s business world, where outdated ideas do are not crossed over very well. They actually do not survive. Things have really changed, haven’t they? Therefore, this is the need of the hour: we need to think in a creative way. As a result, businesses can run with a zero-sum risk in the days to come; a system wherein the profits are maximized, instead of mere reasonable profit margin.

Of course, each day an innovation has been changing rapidly resulting to people’s creative thinking skills. Needless to say, upcoming generations want to listen to and witness unique ideas or products when it comes to buying goods and services. They do not bother on how much time and energy is consumed for executing such creative ideas.

Everyone has a dream. Someone may dream about being a successful manager, others dream about being good scholars, great leaders, and also great players. Having this set in our minds, we have to understand that creative thinking is a skill we need to develop early on because we should discover our talents in the due course of time.

To be honest, I often see in the eyes of the people ‘confusing phobia’at a time when they’re looking at their core interests for the sake of choosing their career paths. They are bound to live in a dilemma to choose the right profession. Who knows what exactly will happen to us as times takes its course. Who knows where we will land up after a few years? Such dilemmas should be properly dealt with and rightly be corrected. However, the life moves on, swinging up and down, but our time is limited. Just to be clear, if we deeply question, observe, understand and experiment on ourselves, then things will sort out and we can create new things in our lives.
