KATHMANDU, Sept 7: CPN-UML has directed Nepal Federation of Indigenous Nationalities (NEFIN) General Secretary Pemba Bhote to withdraw his amendment proposal registered to the revised bill of the new constitution. Bhote, who is also UML lawmaker, said a senior leader of his party has ordered him to withdraw the amendment bill.
"A senior UML leader has asked me come to the party office to withdraw my amendment bill," Bhote told Republica.
"Neither I have gone to the party office nor withdrawn my amendment bill." However, he has not disclosed the name of the leader.
