CPN-M runs health camp in Dolakha

KATHMANDU, May 17: The public health federation affiliated to the CPN-Maoist ran a health camp at Singati Bazaar of Dolakha district, treating hundreds of people injured in the earthquake.The medical team was led by orthopedics from Japan, Dr Icidia. As many as 300 quake victims with fractured limbs, and communicable disease as diarrhoea were treated at the camp. Some with serious condition were referred to better places, said Dipendra Rawal, a journalist in the team.

The treatment is being provided with the coordination of the local security persons and the district public health office.

The Singati bazaar has turned into debris from where many corpses and cattle are yet to be disinterred. So, foul smell is emanating from the ruins. RSS
