Court dispenses justice to victim girl

KAILALI, Feb 14: Nisha Rawal hailing from Kailali, Tikapur, who was compelled to give birth to daughter after sexual exploitation from newspaper publisher, has received justice.



She was subject to forced sexual relations while working as an employee in the newspaper. [break]



Her access to justice has been established with the District Court Kailali issuing verdict in favor of Nisha on Sunday.



Victim Nisha had filed a case at District Court on December, 2010 demanding establishment of due relationship with publisher of Tikapur Times, Karna Kuvera.



Nisha expressed happiness over the birth registration of daughter Aanchal Kunwar even after seven-and-a-half month of her birth.



Federation of Nepali Journalists (FNJ), Kailali Chapter had collected Rs. 12,000 in support of Nisha during child delivery.
