Speaking at the inaugural programme of the tour today, Chancellor of the Nepal Academy Bairagi Kainla hoped that the tour would play a significant role in promoting the language, literature and culture of Nepal and India. A team of eight litterateurs of the Sahitya Akademi arrived here on June 9. The team is led by Prem Pradhan, Coordinator of the Nepali Language Department at the Akademi. A group of 20 people including litterateurs from both countries and Academy staff will go on the tour.
