KATHMANDU, Oct 31: Nepathya, Nepali musical band, will be going on a month-long nation-wide tour from coming December 2 to December 31, organized by Nepalaya. The band has been performing musical journey with a slogan that addresses the contemporary experiences of the country since a long time. Now, again, the band will go on Nepal tour with a new slogan and determination.
According to a press statement issued by Nepalaya on Monday, the band, which is preparing to reach from the eastern corner of Nepal to the western corner, is now participating in the 'Humanity Promotion Campaign'. Before this, the band took part in various campaigns such as ‘Education for Peace' and to eliminate the intervention of armed men in schools, 'Sundar Shanta Nepal' with the desire to free the country from the cycle of conflict.
The band tried to raise their activism and participation through slogans along with their songs. Nepathya, whose voice is now being transformed into a free school, a wisher for peace and anti-war, says, “Through the slogan 'music for humanity', I think of making human dimensions the purpose of my voice. To achieve his goal, he has joined hands with the leading social organization 'Manavsewa Ashram'.
Nepathya to embark on first concert tour in Canada on October 1
The first performance of the 'Music for Humanity' program will be held in Biratnagar on Friday, December 2 at the Hatkhola Maidan. Then the band will leave for Birgunj on December 5 at the 'Adarshannagar Rangshala'. Similarly, on December 8 folk rock songs will be played at 'Bhutan Devi School Ground' in Hetauda.
The founder of Manav Sewa Ashram and President Ramji Adhikari says, "This collaboration will help our campaign, especially youth throughout the country. We expect to make a significant contribution to connecting the generations.”
Similarly, On December 11, the band will perform at Camp Chaur in Narayanghat. The last show of the month of November is in Nepalgunj on December 15. Then their tour will continue on December 18 at the stadium in Dhangadhi.
After that, the band performed on the open stage of Birendranagar, Surkhet on December 21. Then, the band will return to Butwal and perform at the Ramnagar Stadium on December 24.The band will then perform at the ‘Exhibition Center’ in Pokhara on December 27. In this way, after visiting all the provinces of the country, the band will finally arrive in Kathmandu on December 31 and perform at Bhrikuti Mandap.
Through these performances, the band not only made the voice of the Nepali who had become destitute. They will also help in collecting money for their support. We don't just sing music, we have also been taking social responsibility as our responsibility," the band's lead singer and the founder of the band Amrit Gurung said. He stated, "Now no Nepali should have to face a difficult situation. With the message of humanity, we are about to reach the audiences who have been loving us. With this campaign, Gurung believes that Nepathya's songs have become 'music for humanity’.
