The petition is scheduled to be heard by a single bench presided over by Justice Prakash Kumar Dhungana. The bench will carefully evaluate the application and decide whether to proceed with the case.

Mayor Shah recently faced criticism for openly rebuking the High Court's interim order which allowed the screening of Indian movies in Nepali theaters. He claimed that the court's decision was influenced by India and declared his refusal to comply with the order.
