KATHMANDU, Sept 19: The 7th Constitution Day is being celebrated today.
Different functions are being organized across the country and abroad. President Bidya Devi Bhandari, on the occasion of the constitution day and national day, said that it was necessary to establish equal access of all citizens to the services and facilities received from the state and to guarantee social security to the citizens.

President Bhandari will be present at a function organized by the Constitution Day Main Ceremony Committee at Tundikhel this morning. Similarly, Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba will address the special function.

The Constitution of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal has assimilated the principles of republic, federalism, secularism, inclusiveness and proportional representation.
