Minister Poudel said that all countries should work together to mitigate the effects of climate change. He noted that Nepal's role in climate change is insignificant compared to the impact and impact of climate change on Nepal.
He added that Nepal's efforts to reduce climate emissions and adapt to climate change as much as possible with its own resources and means were important. He noted that climate change has also had an adverse impact on international trade, which is the engine of economic growth.
Finance Minister Poudel said that there is a need to enhance the effective implementation strategy of Climate Smart Agriculture to address the challenges faced and likely to be faced by the agricultural sector due to climate change. He said that international partnership and cooperation are important in mitigating the impact as climate change will also affect the production, development and inter-regional trade of clean energy, which has immense potential in Nepal.
He pointed out the need to take more action towards making trade-related infrastructure resilient by using new technology.
