RAUTAHAT, Dec 6: Rautahat District Court on Thursday issued an order to keep CK Raut, the leader of the Alliance for Independent Madhesh, in police custody.
A single bench of Judge Ambika Kafle of Rautahat District Court issued the order to keep secessionist Raut in the detention center to carry out an investigation on him.

Raut has been accused and arrested time and again for airing controversial remarks what the state terms as ‘against the state and national integrity’.
He had last been arrested on October 7 on the charge of voicing against the national integrity and been produced at the Supreme Court in line with the Supreme Court’s order on November 15.
Later, he was transferred to Rautahat district where he had been serving jail-term.
