‘Changes in Panauti’ to start from Thursday

‘Changes in Panauti’ is set to start from Thursday at Dhalko Bato, Pulchowk. The event is organized by Alliance Française Kathmandu.

‘Changes in Panauti’ is set to start from Thursday at Dhalko Bato, Pulchowk. The event is organized by Alliance Française Kathmandu.


At the photo exhibition, the pictures of Panauti of different time will be on display. The exhibition is a part of the celebration of 70 years of diplomatic friendship between Nepal and France.

Prasant Shrestha, photographer said that the photos from 1976 to 2019 will be shown at the event. Shrestha’s photos will also be exhibited at the event.



The event will also welcome Gérard Toffin, an anthropologist and Emeritus Research professor at CNRS, France. Toffin will design a presentation about Panauti in different time periods.  


Panauti lies about 32 km southeast of the capital. It is a small devout township with its cultural heritage rooted back to ancient times.


The event will go until May 6.
