The Chand-led Maoist informed through a press statement that it has captured the house belonging to former Constituent Assembly member of the UCPN (Maoist), Jit Bir Lama, from Laduk-8 and the land owned by CPN-UML leaders at Lamidanda-6 of the district. The party clarified that the land (1,200 square kilometer) which earlier had been used for the community health promotion centre was transferred to the ownerships of UML leaders Kumar Khadka and Prakash KC, so it was grabbed. The party has hoisted its flag on it.
However, it has set a condition that it would return the captured land once the land was transferred to the centre.
Similarly, former CA member Lama has been accused of selling the house without making official documents of ownership transfer. He had sold the mud-and-stone wall house to Dambar Bahadur Budhathoki 14 years back.
Victim Budhathoki said although he pas paid Rs 55,000 on installments, he was yet to have it officially. Rather, former CA member Lama threatened him of showing the evidence that he was paid. RSS
