Cement factory workers to launch agitation

GAIGHAT, Udayapur, Nov 4: Employees at the Asia´s second big and Nepal´s first big cement factory in Jaljale are launching agitation citing no salary and allowances for the past three months.



Around 500 workers of the factory have not received salary and allowances since mid-August. The agitating employees have planned to launch struggle soon accusing factory administration of being responsible for the delay.[break]



Employees associated to All Nepal Revolutionary Trade Union Federation in Udayapur Cement Factory are planning to organize protest programme against ignorance on part of the factory management, said Federation´s secretary Sher Bahadur Parajuli.
