KATHMANDU, Aug 2: Vice chairman of UCPN (Maoist) Mohan Baidya revealed that the recent reshuffling of the cabinet was as per the agreement between his party and Prime Minister Jhalanath Khanal.

Speaking in an interaction program at Reporters Club on Tuesday, Baidya claimed that the PM would soon reshuffle the cabinet with the new state ministers as per the recommendation of the Maoist party. [break]

He termed the cabinet reshuffling as mandatory to make the government inclusive.

He also said that his party would not be able to complete the peace process within the ultimatum given by the prime minister in a press interaction on Monday.

If the government wants to complete the integration process it should revoke all the accusations against the Maoists, the vice chairman said.

Referring to House obstruction by the opposition, Nepali Congress (NC), Baidya said it was the right of the opposition party and suggested that the NC should also hold talks with other parties if they want to address their demands.
