CAAN urges public to avoid flying kites, drones and balloons around TIA

KATHMANDU, Sept 26: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has issued a warning urging the public to avoid  flying kites, drones, balloons and use linear lights in the vicinity of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and surrounding areas.

KATHMANDU, Sept 26: The Civil Aviation Authority of Nepal (CAAN) has issued a warning urging the public to avoid  flying kites, drones, balloons and use linear lights in the vicinity of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) and surrounding areas.


CAAN highlighted that such activities will significantly affect flight safety and these activities are strictly prohibited within a five-kilometer area of the TIA.

The authority has warned that people not following these rules could face serious legal consequences. The authorities are committed to ensuring air safety and urged everyone to follow these rules.
