Player of the match Rashmi Sharma (55*) shared a 91 runs partnership with Jyoti Pandey (30) to guide Biratnagar to a competitive score. Sharma’s innings included 7 hits to the fence. Sandhya Giri and Geeta Chudal bagged one wicket each. Kathmandu conceded 28 runs in extras.
Biratnagar gave away 31 runs as extras but even this could not help Kathmandu’s cause. Opener Geeta Chudal (23) top scored for Kathmandu while no other batter except No 3 Neera Rajopadhyaya (12) could reach double figures.
