Better sharing of rights of Federal, Province stressed

KATHMANDU, Jan 13: CPN (UML) Vice Chairperson Ashta Laxmi Shakya has said that delay in government formation has also affected the formation of province government.

KATHMANDU, Jan 13: CPN (UML) Vice Chairperson Ashta Laxmi Shakya has said that delay in government formation has also affected the formation of province government. 



At a programme organized in her honour in the capital city today, Shakya admitted that local development and infrastructure construction were affected as performance was not seen as per the fresh mandate. Shakya is also a member of province assembly from Kathmandu-8 (B).

She was of the argument that the rights on local means and resources of the federal and province level should be distributed in a judicious manner. 


Likewise, Member of House of Representative from Kathmandu-8, Jibanram Shrestha, said that investments should be done in country's agriculture, tourism and infrastructure sectors for the economic prosperity in the country adding that political revolution in the country was over. RSS
