"The CIB team has launched an investigation into the alleged case," he said.

Alfred, 63, is a paraglider with a private paragliding company in Pokhara. It is learned that he had been staying in the city for almost three years.

Earlier this month, Kavrepalanchowk District Court had slapped nine years imprisonment on a former senior United Nations official Peter Dalglish for sexually assaulting children in Nepal.
