KATHMANDU, Dec 2: The main opposition party, Nepali Congress (NC), President Sher Bahadur Deuba has said that the arrest of NC leader Paudel is an indication of the totalitarian ambition of the current government.
Issuing a press statement on Wednesday, President Sher Bahadur Deuba said the arrest and misbehavior meted out to Paudel s highly objectionable. “While denouncing this objectionable behavior, I want to warn the government to immediately release him or stand ready to face any untoward incident arising out of this,” Deuba said in the statement.

President Deuba said Paudel had reached to inaugurate the bridge built over Buldi Khola in Byas Municipality in Tanahu district. Paudel had reached there to inaugurate the bridge after the Users’ Committee unanimously took a decision to invite Paudel for the inauguration.
