ANNISU-R submits memo to DTPO

BHADRAPUR, Dec 9: All Nepal National Independent Students´ Union (ANNISU)-Revolutionary, Jhapa, submitted a memorandum to the District Traffic Police Office (DTPO), Birtamod, demanding to stop carrying more students than the capacity in school buses.



The students’ union close to the UCPN (Maoist) saying most of the educational institutions in Jhapa district carry more students than the capacity of their school buses.[break]



The memo signed by the Secretary of the ANNISU-Revolutionary was submitted to the Chief of the Office, Nabaraj Khadka.



In the memo, it is stated that most of the schools have provided bus services with the purpose to provide easy transport service. However, the schools in Jhapa are found carrying students in buses than the capacity keeping the students’ life at risk.



The Union is compelled to take any step if the schools pay no attention to the Union´s suggestion, the memo stated.
