KATHMANDU, Feb 23: The Air Dynasty helicopter en route from Kathmandu to Lukla was forced to return to Kathmandu due to a technical issue.

The helicopter, bearing call sign 9N-AJD, departed from Kathmandu at 8:14AM bound for Lukla. However, it was compelled to land back in Kathmandu just nine minutes after takeoff.


It remains unclear what kind of technical problem was observed in the helicopter as of now.


According to TIA, the technical inspection of the helicopter that had a problem has been completed. Officials said the helicopter completed its flight after technical inspection, according to Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).
