TIA officials confirmed that the aircraft, while flying over the skies near Pakistan, encountered a technical malfunction in its onboard safety system, known as TIKAS, designed to signal potential dangers around the aircraft. In response to the detected issue, the flight crew promptly made the decision to return to Kathmandu, ensuring the safety of all passengers and crew members.
Authorities are currently conducting a thorough technical examination of the aircraft and its systems. Meanwhile, to minimize inconvenience, an alternative aircraft has been arranged for the affected passengers, allowing them to reach their destination as soon as possible.
