KATHMANDU, Oct 27: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli emphasized the importance of using science and technology to make life easier during a discussion with experts at the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence (AI) organized by Yuwa Sangh Nepal today.
During the conference, the prime minister stated that AI should be harnessed for development and positive change. "We are eager for development, and the concept of Digital Nepal can help us achieve that. It's essential to use AI positively while also raising awareness and implementing laws to prevent potential misuse," he said.

PM Oli highlighted the need for improvement in education, particularly in reducing the failure rates among students in the Secondary Education Examination (SEE). "We are focused on how AI can contribute to education and how we can establish Nepal as a center for AI learning," he added.
He also announced plans for new policies related to artificial intelligence.
