KATHMANDU, Dec 28: A group of disgruntled riders has vandalized the Nepal office of Pathao--a ride sharing platform--at New Baneshwor in Kathmandu on Monday.
The disgruntled group, which put forth an 11-point demand earlier, pelted stones at the Pathao Office after the company allegedly did not give heed to their demands, according to Metropolitan Police Circle Office in New Baneshwar.

“Following the incident, we have arrested 26 people from the site. We are currently screening the arrested persons,” said Deputy Superintendent of Police Dakshya Kumar Basnet.
The riders had demanded that the commission rate should be reduced to eight percent from the existing 20 percent. Among other things, the agitated riders have demanded that there should be a toll free number for riders to contact the Pathao office.
