KATHMANDU, Nov 2:  With traumatic memories of being in captivity in Saudi Arabia for a year and half, Gagansara Kham, 35, finally returned home. She returned to Nepal after taking the money from her master, thanks to the efforts of the Nepali Embassy in Saudi Arabia, which helped her walked to freedom.

Kham, who ran for her life after forcing herself out of the window, had spent her life as a hostage in her master´s house. Upon escape, she, however, was stranded. She had called the embassy and told of her plight. [break]

Although Gagansara went to Saudi Arabia to earn money in order to support her children´s education, she, however, had to experience a painful living. Kham, who returned to Motipur, Shivpur VDC, was overwhelmed with tears when she saw her two sons and daughter. "My master held me hostage for a year and half. I was supposed to nurse 10 children and cattle," Gagansara said. She spoke of unspeakable injuries she suffered at the hands of her master.

Kham, who is yet to receive her 10 month´s pay from her master, returned home without a dime. She is supposed to receive 100,000 rupees. Gagansara, who had reached the embassy after fleeing her master´s house thanked the embassy employees for her safe journey back home.

Gagansara was stranded after brokers took her to Saudi Arabia through India by luring her of money. She said that her master renamed her as "Sorry Nepali".
