8 JTMM men surrender

MAHOTTARI, Feb 13: Eight cadres of Janatantrik Tarai Morcha (JTMM), led by district chairman of the armed outfit Kautillya Sharma, surrendered to police on Sunday.



Sharma was the chief of the JTMM talks team when his underground party held talks with the Maoist-led government in 2008.



He had gone underground after the talks. The team, which was staying in India, crossed into the Nepali border via Vittamod, and surrendered to the police.
