BIRGUNJ: Six armed men of Jwala Singh-led Janatantrik Tarai Mukti Morcha (JTMM-J), an underground outfit, gave in to police along with their weapons in Rautahat district on Wednesday.

Police said those surrendering before the District Police Office, Rautahat are district in-charge of the outfit, Sheku Ram aka "Sher Singh", deputy in-charge Jawahar Patel aka "Karna Singh", district "military commander" Koushal Kishor Thakur aka "Arjun", Mankar Kumar Giri aka "Jaswant Singh", Naresh Patel and Jallad Sahani aka "Naresh".
Superintendent of Police Ghana Nanda Bhatta said the JTMM-J members surrendered along with a rifle, homemade gun and bullets, among others.
