5 things about Barsha Shiwakoti

Barsha Shiwakoti began her journey in the film industry with ‘Nai Na Bhannu La 2’. Further starring in lead roles in films like ‘Pashupati Prasad’, ‘Subba Saab’, ‘Lappan Chhapan’ and ‘Karkhana’, she has been able to set her foot in the film industry. Having recently graduated from the Apex College with a BBA degree, she is currently gearing up to shoot for an upcoming movie.

Barsha Shiwakoti began her journey in the film industry with ‘Nai Na Bhannu La 2’. Further starring in lead roles in films like ‘Pashupati Prasad’, ‘Subba Saab’, ‘Lappan Chhapan’ and ‘Karkhana’, she has been able to set her foot in the film industry. Having recently graduated from the Apex College with a BBA degree, she is currently gearing up to shoot for an upcoming movie.


In conversation with My City’s Sonam Lama, Barsha revealed five things that many may not know about her.


Fond of travelling


Barsha has so far travelled most of the parts in the eastern region and her recent visit was to Bandipur and Ghandruk. Having travelled to about 15 countries in Europe, she yearns to visit the far western region of the country and Maldives in coming days.

A keen photographer


She takes pleasure in clicking pictures of nature that pleases her vision and uploads them on Instagram. “During my recent visit to Europe, my cellphone was flooded with more than 10 thousand pictures that I had taken of places and subjects that highly interested me,” recalled Barsha.


Health conscious


Currently on a break from work, Barsha makes sure to stay fit and healthy through ample exercise and cutting on unhealthy diets. She ensures to drink a lot of water for a healthy skin and has been going to zumba classes for two months now.


A lone shopper 


When it comes to shopping, Barsha likes to shop on her own. She likes experimenting different make up and clothing brands to find out the best that actually suits her. More to buying dresses, she is obsessed with Gucci perfumes and accessories.


Reads motivational books


Barsha defines herself as a person who can’t get enough of reading motivational works. She highly admires motivational speaker and writer Nick Vujicic for his high spirit and stories of motivation. Inspired by the writer with disability she has completed reading two of his books ‘Unstoppable’ and ‘Life without limits’.
