KATHMANDU, Aug 1: Barsha Siwakoti has been finalized in the lead role of the upcoming film ‘Gopi’. The movie will feature actors Khagendra Lamichhane, Barsha Siwakoti, and Surakshya Panta in the lead roles. Director of the film, Dipendra Lama said that Siwakoti had been finalized for the film, and the role completely suited her. “Though there are two female actors in the film, it is not a love triangle,” he explained.

Before this, Lamichhane worked with Siwakoti in ‘Pashupati Prashad’, and he was seen together with Surakshya in ‘Dhanapati’. Lamichhane shared his excitement to be working with his female counterparts. He said, “This is a beautiful coincidence. I had a great fun in working with Siwakoti and Panta before hope this time also I will have a great time.”
Panta feels that entry of Siwakoti would add glamour to the film. “Barsha is known as one of the most beautiful actors of the Nepali film industry, and I am happy to be sharing the screen,” she expressed. The shooting of the film is scheduled to start from August 17 on Kathmandu.
