Besides, the store has introduced wide range of toys keeping in view the growing demand for imported toys.
The store has introduced baby laptops and multi-function learning boards and drum sets. In the toys category, it has introduced Angry Birds, Sensor Guns, Crashing Car, metal series helicopter and adult planes among others.

Baby laptops are available in two different models - one for children below three years and the other for children above three years. The laptops for beginners have various alphabets in it and when pressed it pronounces the words that begin with the alphabets. Through the other model, children can learn Math, Science, English and music. Similarly,
the drum set has recording function and children can record their voice, practice singing and public speaking while paying drums.
Crashing car is a remote operated car that can be crashed and rejoined again. The metal series helicopter can fly as high as 100 meters above the ground and has 0.5 mega pixels. It captures images and videos. Similarly, the adult planes can travel a distance of up to 1 km.
The interactive materials at the store are priced between Rs 1,699 and Rs 2,869, while the price of toys ranges from Rs 189 for a small doll to as high as Rs 10,000 for toy bikes and cars.
“The demand for interactive materials is very high thanks to growing number of pre-schools in the capital,” Shrestha said, adding, “Besides, parents mostly by interactive play materials as children can learn many things while playing.”
Toys and interactive materials at the store come from China, Hong Kong, Thailand and the United Kingdom, according to Shrestha.
The Toy Store is planning to open a new outlet in the near future.
