Book to improve English language of students launched

KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Aiming at enhancing the English language skills of Grade I to VIII students in a more interactive way, Oxford University Press, New Delhi, India launched a Book ‘Oxford New Pathways: An Interactive Course in English’, and also organized a Teachers’ Training Program for Nepal, according to a press statement.

KATHMANDU, Nov 29: Aiming at enhancing the English language skills of Grade I to VIII students in a more interactive way, Oxford University Press, New Delhi, India launched a Book ‘Oxford New Pathways: An Interactive Course in English’, and also organized a Teachers’ Training Program for Nepal, according to a press statement.


“The event was hosted at St Xavier’s School, Jawalakhel, Lalitpur, on November 25, from 9:00am. The training continued till 2:00 in the afternoon,” reads the statement issued by St Xavier’s School.

The training was attended by Bhubaneswari Rao, principal at DAV School, George MP, SJ, principal at St Xavier’s School, among other principals and vice-principals of all renowned schools of the Kathmandu Valley. 


The book is authored by Gayatri Khanna from Oxford University Press, New Delhi, India. “Rajesh Mahindroo from Oxford University Press Noida, India, was also present at the event to extend sincere hospitality to all the invited teachers,” the statement adds.
