KATHMANDU, March 6: The third general convention of Nepal Voluntary Blood Donors Society is going to be held in Kathmandu from April 7.
The Society has expanded its network in 21 different districts of the country. More than 200 people including 105 representatives from the respective districts, bodies concerned and observers would participate in the two-day general convention.
Society Chairperson Prem Sagar Karmacharya (Raktasagar) said that discussion would be held on various issues including creating public awareness regarding blood donation. Chairperson Karmacharya has so far donated blood for 153rd times.
The general convention would elect a new leadership of the Society. The Society was established on January 28, 2006.(RSS)
