Overall 12 professional and amateur photographers have presented their photographs in the form of a story.

Participants managed to cover a wide range of social issues in an unusual manner that makes each story unique. Various aspects of Nepali society, people and places have been depicted in the photo stories such as Laxman Singh Khadka’s inner story besides volunteering for traffic management.

Stories of cancer patients, those infected by HIV AIDS, life of young migrants, widows, melancholies of third gender and progress in citizenship and transports issues were portrayed.

The exhibition also provides information regarding important years in the history of Nepal while visitors are allowed to paste their comments below it.

All contributors are youth and it is indeed a revolution in itself that today’s youth are conscious about crucial aspects of our society.

“We received great response at the inauguration itself. There were numerous visitors and many of our books got sold,” informed Prashant Raj Karnikar, administrator of Photo.Circle.

The photo stories have been turned into a book.

The exhibition is free for all. It will continue till 13 November from 12 p.m to 7 p.m.
