JSP Nepal to add 14 executive members including two vice presidents

The addition of office bearers and executive members is being made based on ethnic, community and gender inclusiveness.

KATHMANDU, March 10: The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP Nepal) led by Upendra Yadav is set to add more central office bearers and executive committee members.


The party's central committee meeting amended Clause 3 of Article 29 of the party's constitution 2080 by using the provision ‘Section 139- Remove Obstacles and Blockages' to add more office bearers and executive members.

According to the party, the addition of office bearers and executive members is being made based on ethnic, community and gender inclusiveness. JSP Nepal will add two more vice-presidents and one general secretary and 11 central executive members.


According to clause 3 of the amended Article 29, a central executive committee will be formed consisting of the Federal Council President, Central Committee President, senior leader, co-president, vice-president, general secretary, deputy general secretary, secretary, treasurer and 21 members elected from the central committee.
