Rare species of bird found in Nepal

KATHMANDU, July 1: A new species of birds have been found at Koshi Tappu Wildlife Reserve, totaling the number of species of birds in Nepal to 868.



The bird named White Shouldered Starling was first spotted at the KTWR on June 24. [break]



The new species of the rare bird has been acknowledged by the Nepal Rare Bird Committee on Friday.
