KATHMANDU, July 9: The Home Ministry has recommended the promotion of 32 Superintendent of Police (SPs) to Senior Superintendents of Police (SSPs).
A meeting of the promotion committee held on Saturday recommended promotion of 32 SPs to SSPs in their respective groups.

SP Ganesh Chand of the Security Service Management Directorate of Nepal Police is in the first position in the recommendation made for the promotion to the SSP.
Similarly, Siddhi Bikram Shah is in second, Sushil Singh Rathore in the third, Uma Prasad Chaturvedi in the fourth, Dan Bahadur Karki in the fifth and Sharda Prasad Chaudhary is in the 32nd position in the recommendation list.
