KATHMANDU, Sept 10: A team of Nepal Police and Armed Police Force has recovered 245 kg of marijuana from Sunsari.

The police team recovered the marijuana from Shisauli Ghat located in Baraha Kshetra Municipality-6 of Sunsari.

Eight sacks of marijuana and three tubes, which were being brought from north to south through the Saptakoshi River, were seized by the joint team of the APF Security Base Chatara and Nepal Police.

The recovered marijuana and tubes have been kept at the Area Police Office Mahendranagar, for necessary action. According to the police, no arrests have been made in connection with the incident.
