NAWALPARASI, Sept 24: A total of 23 people were injured when a passenger bus met with an accident on the East-West Highway at Binayi Triveni in Nawalparasi (Bardaghat Susta East), Nawalpur.

The bus traveling from Kathmandu to Rajasthan, India, met with an accident near Binayi khola in Binayi Triveni-1.

According to Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Bed Bahadur Paudel from the District Police Office, the RJ 14 PC 3545 bus lost control and overturned on the road this morning. As a result of the bus overturning, 23 passengers were injured.

DSP Paudel stated that there were about 45 passengers on the bus, and the other passengers are safe. He mentioned that the injured are receiving treatment at the local Binayi Triveni Basic Hospital.
