Nepal’s COVID-19 case tally hits 155,233 as death toll stands at 842


KATHMANDU, Oct 24: As many as 2,225 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded across the country in the past 24 hours.

According to the latest data from the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 13,846 individuals had undergone PCR tests out of which 2,225 individuals have tested positive for the virus.


Of the new cases detected on Saturday, 779 are females and 1,446 are males.


Similarly, in the past 24 hours, as many as 2,846 people who had earlier been diagnosed with COVID-19 have recovered and returned home. So far, 108,334 people have recovered from this disease in Nepal.


Likewise, the health ministry also confirmed 13 more COVID-19 related death cases on Saturday. With this, Nepal’s COVID-19 death toll has reached 842.
