463 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU, June 28: Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has said that 463 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in various parts of the country in the past 24 hours.

KATHMANDU, June 28: Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP) has said that 463 new cases of coronavirus were recorded in various parts of the country in the past 24 hours.

At a daily press briefing, Jageshwar Gautam, the spokesperson for the MoHP said that the number of coronavirus cases has soared to 12772 with the latest figure.


As of today, 11298 males and 1474 females tested positive for Covid-19, according to Gautam. In view of rising Covid-19 cases, the government has intensified Covid-19 testing across the country, he said. In the past 24 hours, 4,962 persons underwent Covid-19 testing through PCR method while 2,732 persons underwent Covid-19 testing through RDT method.
