Top leaders' meet inconclusive

KATHMANDU, May 25: The meeting of the top leaders of the main three political parties at Parisdanda, the central office of the Unified CPN (Maoist) ended inconclusively on Tuesday afternoon.



The meeting discussed the current political situation in an attempt to reach an agreement. The top leaders, and Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal, will meet again on Wednesday morning.[break]



The meeting was attended by Maoist chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal, vice-chairmen Baburam Bhattarai and Narayan Kaji Shrestha; CPN-UML chairman Jhala Nath Khanal, general secretary Ishwar Pokharel, secretary Bishnu Paudel and Pradeep Gyawali; and Nepali Congress´ acting chairman Sushil Koirala, senior leader Sher Bahadur Deuba, parliamentary party leader Ram Chandra Paudel and Arjun Narsingh KC.
